Does MegaGen have digital analogs for models?

Yes, MegaGen has two different RP analogs for 3D printed models.

We created a new RP analog (Two-piece screw type) due to issues the previous RP analog (Push) had below:

• Analog dropped out or rotated from the model

• Users couldn’t check the exact position of the RP analog

What library should I use?

For 3Shape Users: The RP analog component has been incorporated into the design (custom abutment, ti-base, and stock abutment) library. If you intend to utilize a two-piece analog, please acquire the library containing two-piece analog illustrations and commence your design process.

Follow this path: Go to megagendigital.com → click on any implant system with the “ZrGEN (Ti-base)” or “TiGEN(Pre-milled)” label depending on what you need → scroll down and download the correct digital analog library.

⚠️ Caution: Previous version of the RP analog library is not compatible with the new RP analog. For 3Shape users, the correct RP Analog library must be used in the beginning of the design process.

For Exocad Users: Install the new version of the digital analog in the [exocad / DentalCADApp / library / modelcreator / implants] path. If you have the previous RP analog library, you can switch it out to the new RP analog library.

Follow this path: Go to megagendigital.com → click on any implant system with the “RP_Screw type (3D print model)” label → scroll down and download the library under exocad.

Your finished model:

When you sense the screw tightening to the analog, the screw tightening will bring the analog down to its position without using a tool to press it.
